Roberta Flack World Tour (South-East Asia and Japan) 

November 22, 1992 - January 1, 1993

 

To all band members, personal staff and crew:

 

Here is a comprehensive itinerary which includes all pertinent information for our tour. It is important that you read it well, as you will be held responsible for the information included such as lobby pickup times, etc. Do not lose this book. I will not be carrying replacement copies. Unless an announcement is made or unless you receive messages in your rooms, the times in this book are binding. Do not ask for information which is already provided to you. Below are listed several suggestions and principles which will help make this tour more organized and efficient.

 

  • Pick-up times listed are the times at which we will depart. You should schedule your own wake-up call, and make sure that you are already checked out by the time we leave.
  • Guest tickets: Please get me names and numbers in writing as soon as possible. Our guest places are limited, and it will help to do this in advance. No request will be accepted after soundcheck on the day of the show.
  • Travel and hotel information is listed for each city and concert. If you miss a flight, train, bus, etc, you are responsible to get yourself to the next location. Please notify me as to when you arrive if this happens. Any cost incurred in rejoining the group will be your sole responsibility.
  • Read well the attached health information which will prove to be helpful especially in Southeast Asia. You should be prepared to bring some bottled water with you, in case the local bottled water is not processed properly.
  • We will be traveling through both summer and winter climates. I suggest packing one suitcase with summer clothes, and another for winter. We are more or less limited to 2 suitcases, and 2 carry-ons.
  • Please put one laminated pass on each bag - checked luggage as well as carry-on. The other tag is your personal identification to carry with you throughout the tour. Do not lose these as we will not be carrying replacements.
