Electromagnetics with Metaphysical Parallels

Here are some facts from physics, electronics and electromagnetism that have strong metaphysical correlations.

1. No one knows which way electricity flows. Thomas Edison postulated that it flows from positive to negative. Modern physics says that it flows from negative (abundance of ionized atoms) to positive (a paucity of ionized atoms). Sometimes it is easier to think of it one way, other times - the other.

2. The charges in all atoms of the universe constitute the smallest possible charges: the positive of protons, the neg. of electrons. All electrical and electromagnetic phenomena, from integrated circuits to lightening are multiples of these elemental charges.

3. When the positive and negative count in an atom are unequal, we get these phenomena as they are working toward recovering equilibrium. It is the nature of these differences to resolve back to a state of equilibrium. In fact, all electricity and its many uses, are atoms trying to return to a state of equilibrium.

4. There are layers of shells around atoms that contain the orbits of the electrons. Atoms can share electrons from their outer shells generously without losing its atomic identity. In other words, with 1 extra electron or without 1 electron, copper is still copper. These kinds of materials are called conductors: elements, compounds or mixtures that share electrons, conduct the flowof electrical charge buildup. The opposite are called insulators or resistors: elements, compounds or mixture that do NOT share electrons.

5. When there are negative electrons flowing from one atom (in abundance of electrons) to the other (in deficiency) there are "holes" caused by the electron flow that are moving in the opposite direction.

6. When we are recording, we are converting (or transducing) mechanical motion (disturbed air hitting a small diaphragm in a mic that vibrates or resonates from the air disturbances) into electron flow and converting that into magnetism (magnetic field patterns thrown on recording tape representing time), which is our analogy or analog of what really happened. Air -> Mic Diaphragm -> Electron Flow -> Magnetic Patterns: This is a Parallel Universe.
