Why Print Your MIDI Tracks as Audio?

 

- By the time you get to Mixing, you should only be working with Audio files. This makes sure the Mixer does not accidentally select the wrong sound or get tracks confused.

 

- After you Print your tracks as audio, you don't have to have your DAW (e.g. Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, etc.) open or bring any of your outboard keyboards or drum machines to the studio.

 

- Having fewer programs open at the same time increases the power available for mixing and plug-ins.
