"Construction Kit" in Sample Library

 

A "Construction Kit" in sample library may contain rhythmic audio phrases, multiple notes of a sampled instrument, melodic fragments, drum sounds, sound effects etc. Construction Kits often times provide all of the sounds used in a hip-hop production but may also be used to trigger sounds effects in live theatrical productions. The uses are many. You are limited only by your imagination.

• Multisamples: Contains folders of pre-edited individual notes to create multisample instruments.
• Drum Loops: Contains many long audio files that contain isolated drum hits. You will need to capture and export regions as edited WAV files.
• Drum Samples (Edited Audio WAV): Contains folders of ready-to-use WAV drum hits.
• Sound FX alias: Points you to a folder of Sound Effects. Depending on the file type and sample rate, you may need to import files you want to use in your DAW and export them in the necessary format.
