1. EQ chart for Acoustic Guitar recording

Frequency Range Characteristics
 Below 80 - 100 Hz

Rumble

*Cut this area of frequency using High Pass filter if you don't want muddy low-end sounds

Around 250 Hz

Boom

*Cut this area of frequency with high Q if you want clear bass sounds

 300 - 500 Hz

Body

*Boost this area of frequency if you need warm sounds 

 1 - 5 kHz

Presence

*Boost this area of frequency if you need presence 

 3 - 8 kHz

Attack

*Boost this area of frequency if you want attack sounds

 

 

 

2. Compression settings for Acoustic Guitar recording

Attack time

10 - 20 ms

*If you want more "Accent/Punch" of guitar sounds, you can increase Attack time

Release time

250 ms

*You can adjust release time depend on Tempo of the song

(Fast tempo -> shorter release time; Slow tempo -> longer release time)

Ratio

2:1 ~ 4:1

*You can adjust ratio setting depend on the dynamics of the song
