- With both compressor channels operating independently, you will find that the center image shifts as each channel compresses differently and at different times.

- The signal in the middle will tend to move to the right when the left channel is in compression and vice versa.

- To eliminate this problem, engage the compressor 'Stereo Couple' switch.

- This will allow the left compressor channel to control the right.

- This ensures that when one compressor channel is working the other will also operate, resulting in a stable center image.
